This first time available gorgeous private Lake Cowichan riverfront property has one suite in the main house at $1800 per month rent. The property entrance is gated and has very secluded views of the river, mountains and wildlife including otter, mink, beaver, eagle, vulture, deer, Roosevelt elk, bear and cougar to name a few. We are located across from a Provincial Park bordering the Cowichan River which spawns 3 different species of Pacific salmon, our resident wild Steelhead salmon and three species of local trout. Casually, you can watch Mother Nature show-off from our dock and our private viewing bench which are both located within 35 steps from our main house patio door. The salmon are majestically visible in the fall and winter. Trophy fly fishing is common most of the year. The bus stop and local town shopping are within walking distance. The large bedroom suite includes a queen bed, dresser, double closet, television, fridge, microwave, internet and all utility costs including heat and hydro. A continental breakfast and informal supper meal are included daily. A long term quiet and retired guest is preferred to compliment this beautiful and scenic tranquil family home. A residential care attendant is one of the two permanent residents. No health services are provided or warranted in this offer of residential tenancy only. Additional services may be provided by fee. Viewing is by appointment only. References and a criminal record check may be required. The first month's damage deposit is due upon acceptance.
